In the back of my calendar is a list of appropriate wedding anniversary gifts.
Year 15 is crystal.
Year 20 is china.
Twenty-five is silver, and 30 is pearl.

The romance market is in a constant flux, like a river pulled by the tides of public buying power and readership. Harlequin is an amazing company that has one very big ear intently listening to buyers of books through the Ka-ching of money going into the cash register. They try new things and sometimes the […]

My friend and avid booklover, Barbs, just sent me a few more shots to share. Not sure I copied them from my email in the best way possible, so the quality might be as sharp as it could be, but you’ll get the idea.
Speaking of Barbs, here she is with me and […]

Thanks, everyone, for all your feedback and good wishes. I love hearing from you and appreciate your support.
First off, my friend Linda Warren, who is closing out the Texas Hold’em series in February, sent me her cover. It’s great, which is only fitting since Linda’s story is, too. I loved how she worked in […]

My home chapter of RWA, the Sacramento Valley Rose, put on its 2nd Reader’s Luncheon on Saturday. I forgot my camera (I swear my short-term memory loss is getting chronic.), but I had solid promises from several friends who remembered their cameras that they will forward photos.
Here’s the first to come through for […]
