More Reader Luncheon photos

My friend and avid booklover, Barbs, just sent me a few more shots to share. Not sure I copied them from my email in the best way possible, so the quality might be as sharp as it could be, but you’ll get the idea. :???:

Speaking of Barbs, here she is with me and dear friend Susan Crosby. Susan’s new release is called a NEXT called I’M YOUR MAN. She’s an amazing author and I love her books. Sadly, we got word yesterday that Harlequin will stop publishing the NEXT line in February, I believe. I’m so sorry for the NEXT authors, who have put out some fabulous books. Fortunately, Susan’s future projects will be for Silhouette. barbssuenme.bmp

Here’s one of me and my buddy Melinda Curtis. We were tablemates at the signing. Mel is such a clever marketing diva. Her new Superromance is called Count On Love, and she was giving away decks of cards that she had made up with her logo and book title. The book got a great revue from RT, btw. Way to go, Mel!!! melnme.bmp

Last, but not least, here’s Brenda Novak and me. I bought the final two installments of her Mira series: Dead Right and Dead Giveaway. Already read the first one, Dead Silence. Very good. Have no idea when I’ll find time to read, but makes me feel good to have the complete set. I hope that’s how people will feel about our Texas Hold’em series. Gotta have a complete set. brennme.bmp

I’m off to do a bit of shopping. My dear daughter-in-law’s birthday is tomorrow. We need some party fixin’s. And, just because mothers should be celebrated, too, let me say, “Thank you, Frani, for sharing your wonderful daughter with us.”

  1. Well, crum, I guess since the photos came via email, they got saved differently as bitmaps. Oh, well, click on the link and you’ll see them.

  2. I have Kodak camera and did use their software and just dragged them to my aol blank posts maybe that’s why they turned out that way on the blog. I’m lucky it’s so simple though I’m not a great photographer and a computer illiterate too

It was a wonderful luncheon and as always I got some newtome authors books and well as those great
    special “friends” books too.

  3. Your camera is very cool. And you did a good job with the shots. The lighting wasn’t very good there. I have a pastie white thing going. Not a good look for me.

Thanks for sending the shots, Barbs. So good to see you.
