Happy Hanukkah

I saw a great shot of the lighting of a giant Menorah this morning on TV. I love the story behind this holiday. Peace and blessings to all.

I got my Christmas letter written today and after a great deal of cussing (sorta not in keeping with the spirit of the holiday, I agree) my son helped me figure out how to use the ‘post card’ feature on my new software. Ack! I hate how difficult some programs can make things. Either that or I’m a slow learner. Sigh. I’d like to post this image, but I’m not sure it’ll translate to a jpg. Double sigh. Maybe my lovely web mistress can help.

I have a new cookie recipe to share tomorrow. Yummy.

I can’t wait til we get the new cookie recipe tomorrow. Hey Deb, did you ever get that recipe of the 1800’s? Did I miss it? And hey….you have a great day today. And every day. I know how computer programs can be. Patti

Patti, I thought I posted that recipe. We tried it and were a little disappointed in the taste, but there was some confusion because the original recipe was missing one ingredient, so we want to try it again before we give a rousing endorsement. I promise to re-post if it turns out great.
