My pal Holly Jacobs just posted this list of books nominated for the Romantic Times BOOKreviews’ title of Best Superromance for 2007.

I’m sorry to say that of these titles, the only one I’ve read is Roz’s book, which I loved. Very grown up and smart. But I’m going to track down as many as I can find because I know all of these authors and I know these will be great reads.
Thanks for all your good thoughts for my health. I feel better today. Yeah!!!

Melinda Curtis’s is my only read of the list and I loved it
I’m still wore out after that 2 week marathon I did. My sinuses are a mess but it’s not a cold. Did the elves take down and put your Christmas *stuff* away? If so tell them to come on over I could use them too
No party for ‘08 but a nice restful evening with a book and a hot cup of tea
Take care Deb and Happy New Year! I know ‘08 will be very prosperous for you! How many of your books can we expect to see/buy next year?

Marie, you’ll have to send me a link for that site. I’ve somehow missed that you were reviewing for them.
Barbs, my sister bought that book of Mel’s at the REader Appreciation Tea and she’s reading it now. Says it’s very good.
I will have 2 titles out in 2008. A more normal pace that my last couple of years. The first is in May. That book is done and is possibly my favorite to date. Wait till you meet Cooper.
And I’m writing the second book now. It will be out in Sept.
There are three more contracted in the Sentinel Pass series, and I just have to make sure they sell well so I can keep pulling characters from this town. I love using the Black Hills as a setting. It’s such a wonderful place.
Hope you’re on the mend soon, too, Barbs.

I’m like Barbs….the only one on the list that I know is Mel and I also bought her book at the Luncheon this year, but with all the books I bought this year, I’ll be reading her’s next. I’m reading one of Kim’s books now. Happy New Year Everyone!!!!!!!!!! It’s gotta be a GREAT 2008!

I’ve read all of the books on the list and am glad I don’t have to vote on which one wins.

Good for you, Ellen!!! I wish I could say I’ve read them all, but then I’d be in the same boat — trying to decide if I like apples more than oranges that day. Tough call, but still, in this case, it truly is an honor to be nominated. This is 7 out of 72. Makes them pretty elite.
