A new title for my May release
After months of calling the next book in the Spotlight on Sentinel Pass series “Mac’s story”, I have a new title: PICTURE PERFECT MOM.
Big change from Mac’s story, right? Well, Mac is the older brother of Libby (heroine of BABY BY CONTRACT). A widower with a young daughter. A miner. A go-to guy, but kinda dark and angsty. His wife died after the couple had a big fight and she told him she was leaving him for another man.
When I started the series, I had a general idea that this heroine would be Mac’s late wife’s estranged sister. But when I started writing the story–actually at the very end of Kat’s book (DADDY BY SURPRISE) a beautiful stranger showed up. I was intrigued…and so was Mac. When I found out who she was, I called my editor and got the thumbs up because…well, it’s complicated.
But I love the title. What do you think? Titles can really influence a purchase, right? Do you like PICTURE PERFECT MOM? Oh…and this book is coming out in May. Mother’s Day. Cool, huh? Post your applause
and I’ll pick someone to win a “Romancing the Digital World” calendar from eHarlequin. (Some very sexy covers each month.)
I’m off to the ocean for a weekend of R&R. See you next week.
