Thanks, Marcie and Rula. It was fun–just funny how life works out some times. To quote Shakespeare In love (again), “I love it when a plan comes together.”

I love Fall. Always a challenge to know how to dress, though. I had a sweater on this morning and now it pushing 85. But that beats 105!!! This is heavenly.

Your end-of-summer pool party looked like fun too. What a way to end summer – a book and a party!
It’s supposed to be in the 90’s in my neck of the woods, but it’s breezy. The rest of the week – I think Fall is trying to sneak in.

congrats on the title! I’d be excited too. It makes the whole story more real. in my opinion.
oh the one word title is Unguarded. I found it on Amazon. The author’s first name is Tracy I believe. Either Wolff or Kelleher.

My editor just emailed and they’d decided to use: A FATHER’S QUEST.

I like this a lot. It fits marvelously. I should have thought of it. Sigh.

Thanks for your input, everyone. Deb, I was surprised that neither of my “twins” books wound up with the word Twin/twins in the title. Readers like twins, I’m told. Oh, well. And, yes, grandkids rock.

You think I was joking, don’t you? You should see my office–little altars everywhere.

I still haven’t heard. Believe it or not, the editors don’t really understand how excited we get about these. It’s an intense part of the process and nobody wants to make a mistake but they don’t immediately send us a text or anything. It’s more like, “Oh, and BTW, your title will be…”
