One of my favorite movies in THE BODYGUARD with Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner. I love the juxtaposition of these two leading characters who have zero in common but a chemistry that never stops. Even though the ending isn’t what I’d call a traditional HEA (happyily-ever-after), I’m a diehard romantic who knows…KNOWS…these two will wind up together at some point down the road.
Each of the ten heroes in these wonderful, full-length standalone novels brings his own challenging backstory and reasons not to fall in love–just as these ten heroines make not falling not an option. Wait. Too many nots in that sentence? Sorry. Let me put it another way.
They meet.
There’s danger.
And even more dangerous: they fall in love.
