First in Series FREE (for a short time only)

MONTANA BLUEPRINT FOR LOVE was such a fun book to write. Partly because it’s the first in the series and I love beginnings. But also because it gave me an excuse to watch hours of HGTV: Property Brothers, HomeTown, Love It or List It, This Old House, etc….

As I wrote this story about a young woman at a crossroads in her life, I had no problem picturing her picking up a hammer to help her family, but I knew—even if she didn’t—that helping Boone Fielding flip her father’s “money pit” would bring her back to her dreams and long-forgotten passion, which had been buried under a pile of obligations and expectations.

This book made me reflect on my path to becoming an author. My high school English teacher told me, “Deb, you’re a very good writer, but that’s not a practical career path. Maybe you should major in journalism.” So, I tried. For one semester. Then, I tried a bunch of other things. Eventually, I wound up working as a feature writer for a newspaper, but non-fiction was never my passion. (They sorta frowned on people making things up. 😉 So, I completely identified with Ruby’s need to rediscover what made her tick—building, remodeling, bringing old wrecks back to life.

And, because Ruby was the firstborn of the McCall girls, she knew how to twist arms and make her sisters join in the “fun.” That each sister found herself AND her dream hero in the process was the best part of writing this series.

If you haven’t read the Property Sisters of Montana series, here’s your chance to download three books for the price of two. 😉

PS: Tule’s policy it to revert the book to full price immediately after the 24-hour feature has run. Please grab it right away.

PPS: If you’re not following me on BookBub, please do. They will always send you notifications of my new releases and special deals, in case my newsletter winds up in your spam folder.

Happy reading,

Finally FRIDAY: December is upon us…oh, my!

Where did November go? I blinked and it was gone. I’m “blaming” BookBub for the exciting, and, at times, grueling promotion frenzy that has occupied my every waking–and, unfortunately, too many non-waking–moments.

Thanks for the memories, BookBub! It’s been a wild ride!

Happily, the effort has been worth it. Every day, I get a report from BookTrkr telling me how many of my books have sold–or been downloaded–and WHERE.

Here’s a recent day’s country list:

Canada, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Norway, Argentina, New Zealand, Ireland, Australia, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden, Slovakia, Germany, Mexico & France.

Wow! Right?!

I decided to keep the sale price of FREE through December 15 because…I honestly don’t remember why. LOL. If I’d known it was this much work, I probably would have ended it today. Sigh. But, I am happy–really happy–about getting this book in the hands of readers around the world.

Now, about this whole December thing…how many gifts have you bought?

If you say you’re done with your shopping, I’m sorry, but we are no longer friends. (Kidding. I admire you. Really. But I hate you, too. 😉 Just a bit.)

I am very behind, but here’s one thing I just realized: I’ve become an online shopper.

I didn’t mean to, but I was in Target last week and nearly had a panic attack. So many people. Long lines. Strangers coughing. Too warm (germs flourish in a warm environment, right?).

Since then, I’ve purchased half a dozen gifts from the comfort and cleanliness of my couch.

Are you a brick and mortar shopper or an online shopper? Really curious.

Free at last…except in India…sigh

Making a previously published book go FREE is no easy task. Believe me, it’s taken hours of every day for the past two weeks. Some vendors are a piece of cake. Some are a piece of … work. 😉

But this morning, my first BookBub Feature (as an Indie author) came out! I’m so excited and thrilled for the exposure this will give a book I love dearly, PRINCE CHARMING UNDERCOVER. Fingers crossed readers will love it and want to read the rest of the series.

I was disappointed to learn that the book was NOT free in Amazon Kindle India (after being told the price had changed), but some things are beyond your control–and it’s important to remember that when you’re an author. Sigh.

If you love a little suspense with your romance, I hope you’ll give this book a try. (And your kind review would be GREATLY appreciated.) Here a few pull quotes from reviews to date:

“An utterly gorgeous start to a new series”

“…a plot that makes caring about the final outcome imperative.”

“…entertaining, intriguing, emotional and couldn’t put the book down…you will not be disappointed!!”
